There is always a lot happening in our Griffin community, and we want to share a few upcoming events that you and your family will not want to miss.

At Curry’s Collision, we believe that being involved locally makes our town greater and more fun for everyone. Spring is a great time to get out and enjoy all the activities our area has to offer.

Touch a Truck Event

It is a special day when Griffin’s service men and women bring their vehicles out for kids to explore up close. Imagine seeing a police car, a fire truck, or even a big service vehicle right in front of you. It is a chance for children to climb aboard, check out the equipment, and ask questions.

The event is open to the public, and it is a wonderful opportunity to meet and thank our local heroes for all they do to keep Griffin a safe and welcoming community.

No matter your age, getting a close up look at these vehicles is exciting, educational, and fun.

Join the Annual Great Griffin Mayfling

Another highlight of the season is the Annual Great Griffin Mayfling Arts and Crafts Festival, which takes place the last weekend in April. Sponsored by the Griffin Spalding Chamber of Commerce, this festival brings together talented artists and artisans to display and sell their goods throughout Griffin’s City Park.

It is a two day event full of family friendly fun. While children enjoy games and activities, adults can browse unique art, enjoy local food, and listen to top local entertainment. Community organizations also participate to raise funds for charitable projects, making this event meaningful as well as enjoyable.

New Attractions This Year

• Amateur Dog Competition: Bring your leashed pup and compete for prizes in multiple categories.
• Youth Singing Competition:
  • 5th to 8th Grade: Saturday at 10:30 am
  • 9th to 12th Grade: Saturday at 2:30 pm
• Griffin Lions Club Strides for Sight 5K Race: Starts at 9:00 am on Saturday, April 25th. A portion of the proceeds goes to the American Cancer Society.

These activities make the festival fun for everyone kids, teens, adults, and even pets.
